Character Education at Creston School One definition of Character Education is: A national movement is under way to include character education in school curricula as a means of addressing what many educators, policymakers, and community members view as a decline in values among children, particularly honesty, respect, responsibility, empathy, and civic duty. At Creston School, we believe that Character Education is very important. One of our goals is to have students begin to understand the concept of character. To that end, each summer, the faculty selects a different character trait to focus on throught the course of the school year. Over the years, many different character traits have been covered. Below is a list of the character traits that we've covered so far.
