Creston School teams with Holcomb State Bank to take part is a state-wide
program called Bank at School. Through this program,
students learn the value of saving for the future and money
management.
Bank At School also gives students a fun and exciting
way to learn by doing. On "Bank at School Day,"
held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, students can open new
accounts, make deposits and experience the thrill of watching
their savings grow!
At Creston School, the Bank at School curriculum is
designated for the 7th Grade. Representatives from Holcomb Bank
teach the curriculum to the students. They learn about many
different financial concepts such as the history of money, interest,
economics as a life-skill, etc.
