5th Grade News The Famous Ida B!!!!!! by Ethan Sieg The 5th Graders are reading Ida B. We are also going to meet the author! Ida B. is a nice girl she loves the apple trees and spending time with her family! I like Ida B. SO MUCH that I’m thinking about getting a copy my self!!!! Fifth grade teams are cool! By Micah Davidson In fifth grade we get to do teams. All of our teams’ names are: Swimmers, DJ Kids, Olympians, and the Guppies. We had to pick our team colors and a team cheer. We had lots of fun doing that. Every 8 weeks we pick new teams. And we get a certain amount of points we get if we are ready or we do team work, we have many different things in fifth grade we get to do. I love fifth grade! :) Fifth Grade Games by Skyler Sarver Fifth Grade Games are awesome! We play lots of different games in Fifth Grade. One of my favorite games is 321! The Missing Penny Jar by Sarah Swinton It was the middle of Social Studies. 11:40. When our teacher Mrs. Samo turned around, the penny jar was gone! We thought Mr. Earls took it because he gave Tyler 2 pennies. But after lunch recess, it mysteriously was back! It had caramel on it, and it was ripped. I asked our P.E. teacher if he knew anything about it. He said he eats caramel everyday. This mystery did NOT seem to make sense! In Social Studies, we are studying words like: evidence, interpret, and stuff like that. I wonder if our Social Studies terms have anything to do with this mystery. For now, this case is CLOSED!
