Runescape is a mmorpg (massive multplayer online role playing game) that was created by Jagex.Runescape has 100000 players playing at one time on the weekends and about 80000 players at one time on weekdays and growing daily.
There are many things to do including creating your own character with its own look which is personal, killing over 80 different monsters, cooking exotic foods, making leather items, rings, clay pots, and other things, relax going fishing, mine valuble rocks, then smelt the rocks to metel and make armor out of it, call on the gods to impower you by prayer, shoot down your enemy from a distance with archery, make runes so that you can use powerful spells, cut down trees and make fire to cook by, or go into the wilderness and test your nearve and skill while other players can attack you and stronger players can attack you the farther you go in.
The game is totally free...unless you want more to do and to get more items and more than DOUBLE the map area which you can play on, get 5 aditional skills you can raise including agility, herblore, fletching, thieving, and slayer. Becoming a member will allow you to use the dueling arena to fight other players without losing any items, go to castle wars which is a huge game of about 20 people on the same team of capture the flag with items and blockades and you win 2 tickets if your team wins 1 if both teams tie and none if your team loses then spend the tickets on cool items, follow confusing clue scrolls to find valuble items including god armor, raise your achery to level 40 to enter the ranging guild and play the ranging mini game, go to the games room to play games like checkers and connect-4, test your agility in the agility areanas scattered across the land, go to the gnomestronghold to play a game of gnomeball where if you win you can take home a gnomeball of your own, go on a trawler and catch fish (if the ricked boat doesn't sink first).
