HOME  COMMUNICATION  REGARDING  FLU  AT  SCHOOL

Communications on a timely basis will be by written notes

and school web site announcements so we can provide you with
information about the flu impact at school.  The most important message is to
KEEP YOUR CHILDREN HOME  if you feel they have flu like symptoms.
In addition, the school is making no

judgments as to the student’s condition at school  -- IF

THE STUDENT COMPLAINS THEY DON’T FEEL

WELL – WE SEND THEM HOME.

Today we have 28 students absent and 2 staff members that

report sickness.  We were informed on Monday that one

student had H1N1 flu last week.  We hope the rest of our

students and staff remain healthy.

Both yesterday and this morning, we have taken additional

steps to sanitize and disinfect doors, desks, lockers, washrooms,

lunch tables, water fountains and items throughout the

building.  This will continue as necessary.  Teachers continue

to remind students about safe and healthy practices to prevent

the spread of germs.
