DISCIPLINE  POLICY, continued

 

Special Information :   

1.      Students will not be allowed to participate in any extra       

      activities such as pep band, cheerleading, athletic

                                           practices and games, until all detention time is served.

2.      A five-hour will result in the loss of class officer status for the   

      remainder of the school year.

 

 

CONDUCT ON SCHOOL PROPERTY

 

In addition to prohibitions stated in other School District Policies, no person shall:

 

Ø      Injure or threaten another person.

Ø      Damage another’s property or that of District #161.

Ø      Violate any provision of the criminal law of the State of Illinois or Village of Creston.

Ø      Consume, possess, or distribute alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs.

Ø      Possess dangerous weapons or look-a-likes at any time.

Ø      Impede, delay, or otherwise interfere with the orderly conduct of the District’s educational program or any other school activity.

 

 

MISCELLANEOUS

 

Ø      TRADING CARDS create continuous distractions in school and ownership problems for students on the playground. Trading cards of all types should be left at home.

Ø      AUDIO SOUND DEVICES are not allowed at school. These items are very difficult to keep secure and are best left at home.

Ø      CELL PHONES may be brought to school but are not allowed for use without permission by school staff or in an emergency.

Ø      POP CANS, BOTTLES, GLASS/PLASTIC JUICE containers are not allowed on school grounds.
