BEHAVIORAL GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES  

 

The Board shall maintain a parent-teacher advisory committee to develop with the Board policy guidelines on student discipline. The advisory committee shall also develop, in conformance with guidelines of the State Board of Education, policies and procedures on the use of behavioral interventions with students with disabilities.  In addition, the advisory committee, in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, shall develop with the Board policy guidelines and procedures to establish and maintain a reciprocal reporting system between District #161 and the local law enforcement agencies regarding criminal offenses committed by students.
