Hi! My name is Mrs. Ryan. I am the first grade teacher at Creston School. I have been teaching for 19 years--17 of which have been at Creston! My favorite thing to teach is Reading.

My family and I live in Rochelle. I am married to a man named, Jeff, and I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. I was born and raised in Iowa. Our family there is very close, so we go to visit them several times each year. I love to spend time with my family. Watching my children is one of my favorite things to do. We all enjoy taking bike rides together. When I am not spending time with my family, I also enjoy scrapbooking and playing sports. And...I love to take pictures!

First Grade is such a fun year! We learn about some ordinary animals...bats and penguins! We also become independent readers and mathmaticians. We take some fun field trips and are involved in many exciting activities throughout the year.
